The 55+ Ministry takes a stroll down memory lane at our next gathering on June 12. Join us in the Fellowship Hall at 11:30am for fun and fellowship on Friday afternoon. On Sunday, June 7th, we have the privilege of hosting Dr. Lloyd Kim, Director of Mission to the World. He will be teaching our All-Church Sunday School in the sanctuary from 9:00-10:00 AM and preaching during our worship service. Regularly scheduled children’s Sunday School will still be available during the 9:00 AM hour for families with young ones. Following the service, everyone is invited to stay for a potluck meal and Q&A time with Dr. Kim in the Fellowship Hall.

Families should bring their assigned dishes to kitchen/Fellowship Hall during or before Sunday School (by 9:15 AM). Recommended families bring food in disposable containers whenever possible so food can go directly into warmers during the worship service.

5th Sunday is Food Pantry Sunday, however, you can bring items anytime. During the week, please call the Church Office and let us know you'll be bringing items. On Sundays, you can drop items into the containers located in the foyer, at the Children's entrance (glass door) and Rudy's Room.
Please do not bring any items not listed. Needed Items: Sweet Peas, Corn, Baked Beans, Spaghettios, Peanut Butter (small jars), Spaghetti Sauce, Crackers (plain), Fruit Cups, Canned Meats (i.e. chicken, spam, tuna), Meaty Soups (including stews and chili), Instant Potatoes (packages), Rice Sides, Ramen Noodles, Mac n Cheese Boxes, Corn Muffin Mix, Oatmeal Packets, Grit Packets, Cereal. When possible, flip-top cans are best for recipients.

Men, join us for a morning of food, faith, and fellowship! Our next Men’s Breakfast is Saturday, June 13, at 8:00 AM. Come hungry for plenty of food, good conversation, and a motivational word from Pastor Kevin. No charge. Bring a friend and start your weekend right! See you there. 

We are excited to support the Choices Baby Shower by collecting donations of wipes and diapers. You can drop off your contributions in the designated collection box located in Rudy’s Room at any time. Alternatively, you may bring your donations directly to Choices on June 11. Our Choices ambassador, Esther Myhan, will also be coordinating a final collection from the church to deliver to the center. Thank you for your generosity and support!

Our VBS this year is May 26th through May 28th from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm! All children ages Pre-K to 6th grade completed are invited to join us in a week of studying the Minor Prophet Jonah! We are still looking for volunteers, both adults and teens to serve this week, as well as for donations of food/craft supplies.

Attention all college students and young adults! The Young's are hosting a cookout at their home (4522 Locksley Lane, Chattanooga, TN 37416) this Sunday May 3rd after church. We especially hope to celebrate those of you graduating from college in the next couple of weeks. Our fellowship time will include hearing out your future plans and praying for you! Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided, and if you are able, please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Please come even if you can't bring anything! Hope to see you there!

Ladies, we’re so excited for the upcoming prayer retreat to be held this year at New City May 2 from 9 am-12:30 pm! Our speaker will be Karen Ellis, and the theme is "Deeper in His Presence." We'll gather and enjoy breakfast and coffee together (bring a breakfast/brunch item to share). And we’ll take time for personal and group prayer.

As we celebrate our church's 50th year, there will be special events throughout 2026. On April 23rd, there will be a concert featuring James Ward's worship songs that were written and shared throughout our history. This is to be a night of worship and praise to our glorious King, who blessed our church with mission, with people who came to serve, and a worship style that supported that mission. The concert will be at 7:00pm and admission is free. An offering will be taken for the technology needs of our music department. If you are unable to attend, you can donate here.

Thank you for your patience in the rescheduling of our chili cook off! We have finally landed on April 12th right after church in conjunction with our Corn hole Tournament (Spring Fling)! Come out with your whole family and eat chili and play corn hole! While you eat chili you can watch corn hole or donate straight to our youth trips this summer! If you can’t come out on April 12th there are items we still need, so sign up today! This is an all ages welcome event!

Are you ready to engage more fully at New City Fellowship? This Fri. evening, Saturday morning seminar is a great next step to learn more about the church (our beliefs, vision, values, ministries, and meaningful church membership) and to spend some time with our pastors in a classroom setting. The class is required for those who wish to become members of the church.

Marriage Discipleship for Everyone is a refresh of New City's Marriage Mentoring Ministry. A survey has been created to collect information about individual perceptions, beliefs, and understandings of marriage. Your responses will help us better understand how people view marriage today. All answers are confidential and will be used to help inform the Marriage Discipleship ministry team.
