Food Pantry Sunday is Coming August 31

Thank you New City family and friends! Your generous donations have enabled us to continue providing food for so many individuals and families in need. The need is great and it's a joy to hand a box to someone with God's blessing and see the relief and gratitude on their faces. 5th Sunday is Food Pantry Sunday, however, you can bring items anytime during the week. Please call the Church Office and let us know you'll be bringing items. On Sundays, you can drop items into the containers located in the foyer, at the Children's entrance (glass door) and Rudy's Room.

The pantry is again low on these items: Meaty soups (including stews and chili), rice and potato sides, cereal, mac & cheese, crackers, peanut butter (small jars), pasta sauce, spaghetti, baked beans, corn, spaghettios and green beans. Remember, flip-top cans whenever possible.

Also, there is room for a couple of volunteers to prepare boxes from time to time. If you’re interested, call Angela at the Church Office (423-626-1421).
