Block Party Coming
Please plan on joining us on Memorial Day for our annual block party at the Bayberry Apartments just a mile from our campus. We serve this community in many ways: through our GLAD after—Truthschool program, through men’s and women’s Bible studies, through mentoring young men who live there, and through this annual block party. On Memorial Day, we usually serve between 300 and 400 meals, listen to good music, do a little dancing, repair children’s bicycles, give away children’s books, set up a prayer tent to pray for requests, arrange for a bounce house for children to play, offer health checks, etc.
