A native of West Philadelphia, Kevin attended Penn State and graduated from Temple. He and Sandra have four daughters. He worked in psychiatric hospitals, interned at Tenth Presbyterian Church and studied at Westminster Seminary before moving to Washington DC, where he received a Masters in Theological Studies at Chesapeake Seminary. The Smiths planted a church in Bowie, MD, and pastored in Miami, FL before being called to New City Fellowship

Office Administration
| Rosalyn’s family began attending New City in the mid-'70s. A Chattanooga native, she earned a B.A. in Child and Family Studies from UTC. Her work background has included the Air National Guard, teaching at UTC, and serving at Hope for the Inner City. She is current chair for the Head Start Governing Board, is raising three of her eight grandchildren, and enjoys DIY, HGTV, reading, scrapbooking, and baking. |
ESL Coordinator
| Sandra’s family immigrated from Jamaica to Philadelphia, PA where she found Christ as her Savior and met Kevin at Temple University. Married for over 34 years, the Smiths have four amazing daughters. Sandra holds a Masters in Education and enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafts, reading, traveling and dining. |
Youth Director
Executive Pastor
With missionary parents, Billy grew up between Jamaica, Canada and the United States. He and Sherry have three wonderful adult children, a dog and two cats. The McKillops enjoy the outdoors, either camping in the mountains or relaxing at the beach. Being warm weather people, Florida is their favorite destination.
Bookkeeper
| Shirley grew up in Maryland and has lived in Reston, VA, and Birmingham, AL before moving to Chattanooga in 2008. Shirley is the behind-the-scenes keeper of the books, working with our church treasurer and finance committee to see that bills are paid and budgets are maintained. She also has a ministry of mentoring and discipling of younger women in the church. |

Jeff is a retired PCA pastor who served as a church planter in Edwardsville, IL, then as a pastor of worship and administration in Plano, TX, and Dover, DE. He and his wife Celeste are enjoying being close to family in Chattanooga, Nashville, and Atlanta.
Community Integration Coordinator
Samara is from North Carolina but is no stranger to Chattanooga, having studied Spanish at Covenant College. After graduating, she spent a year in Ecuador coaching basketball at a local rural school.. Now back in Chattanooga, she is passionate about serving in outreach ministries and working with kids. In addition to languages, she also loves hiking, baking, and playing with her dog!
Music Director
| A graduate of Covenant College’s music program, Daniel runs our Music Department working with volunteers and planning services. He was a volunteer himself for 12 years and collaborated on the album “THIS IS THE DAY" for Hope for the Inner City (record and songbook available now through www.jameswardmusic.com). |
Next Gen Ministry Director
A lifelong Chattanoogan, Pat converted to Christianity at age 27. He is a graduate of Teen Challenge and Covenant College. He began volunteering with New City youth ministry in 1990 and went on to serve as the Young Life Area Director for Urban and Multicultural Ministries for 24 years. In 2017 Pat retired from YL and came full time with New City.

Tony Anderson
Custodial Care
Tony is a bi-vocational pastor of Oasis Baptist Church and has been the sexton for New City Fellowship since 2018. In his spare time, Tony stays busy with his company, Turbo Cleaning. His favorite hobbies are running and enjoying a good cup of coffee with family and friends. Tony is the proud husband to Princess Anderson, and they have two children, Obadiah & Gracie.

| Composer, Arranger, Pianist, and Educator. Prakash holds a B.A. in Music Theory & Composition from McDaniel College, a M.A. in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas, and an M.F.A in Music Composition from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. In addition to his ministry at New City, Prakash is a Teaching Associate Professor in the music department at Sewanee: The University of the South, a private liberal arts college located in Sewanee, TN. |
Youth Director
| Gianna came to New City from Maryland while studying at Covenant College. She met her husband, Daniel at New City when he started volunteering with the youth group. They have two little sons, and enjoy lots of outdoor activities with them. The Rakes love to play games together with friends, whether sports, board or card games! |
