Welcome New City Families!
We are so thankful for each of you. Our desire in the Children's Ministry is to create a safe and inviting environment for all our New City Kids to come together, learn about our Savior Jesus Christ, and grow in their personal relationship with Him. Our staff and volunteers are here to walk alongside you and your family as we raise the next generation of believers.
There are many ways to get involved in our Children's Ministries!
Nursery
Join us for Sunday Morning Worship at 10:05 am! We have nursery classes for infants to 1st grade children and worship bags available for older kids staying in the service.
Sunday Buddies
Join us in partnering with our GLAD students and become a Sunday Buddy!
Sunday School
Our Childrens Sunday School classes are most weeks from 9-9:50 am. We have classes available for all children, babies through 5th grade!

Sunday Morning Worship

Worship is at the heart of our faith and Christian life, and here at New City, we worship as one family! On Sunday Mornings, we all attend the first half of service to sing, greet each other, and worship as one body. We do have Nursery classes for children babies to Kindergarten completed and there are Worship Bags available for children attending the full service.

Worship Bags
Our Nursery classes begin after the Offering time, which is about half way through the service. We have four nursery classes available for children ages babies to 1st grade (age 7). Once the Offering has been collected, children will be dismissed to the Children's wing which is to the right at the end of the hallway when you exit the front of the sanctuary. Our Nursery Team leader will greet you at the Check-In desk and help you check your child/children in.
Each week our New City Kids who attend Nursery participate in a Bible lesson, enjoy some play time, and are given a snack. All snacks served are nut free and we do have additional allergen free snack options available if needed. Please inform our Nursery Team Leader of any food allergies we should be aware of for your child when you are signing them in.

Our Worship Bags can be found at all three entrances to the sanctuary. These bags are intended for children attending the whole service to help them participate with the service. Each bag includes a Children's bulletin based on the Sermon for the day, coloring supplies, a snack, and a simple fidget toy. If you child is not attending the full service but could use some assistance in participating, we do have extra Children's bulletins available and packs of crayons for anyone who wishes to use them.
Sunday Buddies!
Join us in partnering with our GLAD Program by becoming a Sunday Buddy!
Over the last year, we have invited our GLAD students to join us for church and they are loving it! The kids have shown a great love for the songs and are constantly asking questions about what they are observing and learning about in Sunday School and during the service.
We are currently looking for more individuals and families who would be willing to invite a GLAD student to sit with them during the service. If you are interested, please complete this survey & join our Sunday Buddy volunteer team TODAY!

Children's Sunday School is offered for all children ages babies through 5th grade. This fall we are studying Paul & letters to the Early Church.
We are still looking for a lead K-1st grade teacher & subs for the school year. If you are interested or know someone who would be, please contact our Children's Ministry Director.
