Youth Ministry Information

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here. New City's Youth Ministry is all about drawing students into God’s Kingdom and discipling them so they in turn can bring the Gospel of reconciliation to their friends, our community, and the world in a cross-cultural context.

  • We seek to serve and grow our youth through youth group meetings, fellowship, worship, Bible studies, retreats, ministry projects with the church and community and through local and global mission trips.
  • We want our youth to know and understand the Gospel, and in turn have the confidence to share their faith as we send them out into the world.
  • We desire for our students to be active members in the Body of Christ so there will be a meaningful transition into a church community after graduation.

New City’s youth ministry includes Jr. High for ages 11-14 and Sr. High for ages 14-18.

Sunday  School meets weekly for 6th-12th graders at the Youth House from 9-10am.

Youth group is held at the youth house (365 Derby Street) on Sunday nights weekly. Middle School meets from 4-5:30pm at the Youth House. High School meets from 6:30-8:30pm at the Youth House. We always enjoy food, games, fellowship, and worship together!

Boys and girls discipleship groups meet throughout the school year weekly.

Isaac is joining us for the first time as an intern after also graduating this coming May! He is really excited to serve the Lord through the youth ministry this summer. He is passionate about God and sharing his faith with others so they can grow to love Him too. He has had the privilege of getting to know the people at the youth group for the past several years, and they have become his best friends.
