Discover New City Online

Welcome to the online format for our Discover New City class. The class overviews our Beliefs, Vision and Values, and Ministry Opportunities.  You can take the class just to learn more about our church, but it is required for those who wish to become members.

We strongly recommend that the class be taken in person if at all possible. The class is offered in person a couple of times a year in a Friday evening, Saturday morning format and adds the benefits of direct interaction with and getting to know New City pastors and ministry leaders and other newcomers in person. However, this online format is provided for those who are unable to attend in person or who can only attend part of the in person class.

1. Complete the Preliminary Data Form.  
2. Obtain the Membership Manual either by calling the church office (423)629-1421 and arranging to pick up a print copy OR by downloading it here.
3. View  the three videos below, using the manual to take notes and write down any questions you may have.  
4. Ask your questions using this form.
5. Finally, complete the Next Steps form.

If you are ready to join the church, the office will contact you to arrange an interview time with some elders from the Session (elder board).
