GLAD Dinner Help Needed

November 27th, 2025
We are excited to host our GLAD students and their families at New City Fellowship for a Christmas dinner on Tuesday, December 9th. This is a great opportunity for our staff, volunteers, and church body to build relationships with the families of the kids and shower them with hospitality. But, we need your help to make this event happen. Please see the list below of how you can help.

Ways to Serve:
  • Decorating Crew
  • Food Server (6 people needed)
  • Clean-up Crew

Ways to Donate:
Something to keep in mind as you look at the list is that we will have about 70 people attend dinner if all the GLAD volunteers can make it and if all the parents and siblings of the kids attend as well.

Monetary Donations needed for:
  • Main Dish (Chicken Tenders from Publix)
  • Walmart Gift Cards

Prepared Food Items Needed (for 70 people)
  • Mac and Cheeses
  • Green Beans
  • Vegetable Plate
  • Rolls
  • Dessert

Supplies Needed
  • Hot Chocolate
  • Styrofoam Cups
  • Clear Plastic Gift Bags
  • Candy Canes
  • Styrofoam To-go Boxes

Decorations Needed
  • Silverware
  • Cups
  • Small Poinsettias as center pieces (to be used as the gift for the mothers)
  • Something decorative to hang over the food
  • Table Markers/Place Cards
