New Ministry Position at NCF

Welcome to Jeff Rakes who will be serving in a volunteer capacity as NCF Communications and Database Implementation Coordinator.  The Lord has blessed New City with some wonderful people who are committed to serving him and his church.   Jeff is a retired PCA pastor who previously served as Pastor of Worship and Administration at Grace PCA in Dover, DE.  He and his wife Celeste moved to Chattanooga in fall of 2021 and are enjoying being close to kids and grandkids (Daniel/Gianna are in Chattanooga, with two other kids and their families in Nashville). Jeff will be working with our church communications (e.g. website, Facebook page, newsletter, service slides and announcements). He’ll be looking for team members with photography, content creation, and marketing experience. Jeff will also help with our office transition to a modern, cloud-based database that will be more accessible to and helpful to our staff, officers, ministry leaders and congregation.
