Building and Grounds 2023 Report
New City has a Property and Security Committee made up of deacons and elders who serve along with the Executive Pastor to oversee the care and upkeep of our buildings and grounds and to help provide security. We also have an Aesthetics Committee that provides expertise and advice on upgrades to our facilities. Through the Lord’s provision of volunteer labor as well as contract labor, we were able to make some needed improvements to our buildings with the contributions provided by the New City congregation. We have an annual maintenance fund for regular upkeep like HVAC and plumbing services, janitorial supplies, and minor repairs to the buildings. For larger capital projects, we rely on budget savings.
