Chili Cookoff Jan. 29
Our Youth Group’s annual Chili Cookoff is coming Sunday January 29 from 12:30-3 pm in the New City Youth House (365 Derby St.). It is designed to bring the whole Congregation together in a fun way that brings in money for Youth Retreats and Missions Trips. Over half our students need scholarships for summer trips, so the funds raised help ensure that every student involved in New City’s racially and socio-economically diverse Youth Group has an equal opportunity to participate.
So, everyone come and vote by putting cash or checks in the jar beside your favorite chilis. There will be prizes for first, second, and third place. Friendly competition to benefit youth discipleship. Sounds like a winner!
NOTE: We still need more people to sign up to bring chili or fixins/water/juice.
